Crown Digital is a Singapore-based company that has been operating Ella, the robot barista, since 2018. Six years on, we serve customers daily across offices, transit, hospitality, healthcare, and international events.

⸻ Our story

From café operations to a global service.

We started in coffee operations, and we still think like operators. The everyday realities of running a coffee programme (early mornings, supply, training, the small things that go wrong on a Wednesday afternoon) shaped everything we built.

Ella came out of that. A robot designed not as a demonstration but as a solution to the daily problems we lived with. We wanted to serve great coffee in more places, more reliably, for longer hours, without the constraints of staffed cafés.

Today we serve customers across multiple markets. Through our own deployments, through partnerships with global brands, and through the relationships we’ve built with workplace teams, hotel groups, and event organisers around the world.

We blend elite Arabicas from Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, and Papua New Guinea for their vibrant aroma and acidity, then ground them with premium Indian Kaapi Royale. The result is a bold, complex cup with a heavy body and a thick, lasting crema.
